Fresh Vintage

Another card using a free set from Sale-a-Bration, this time using the Fresh Vintage set and using Stampin’ Write markers to ink the stamp. The Everyday Enchantment DSP is also from SAB.

Elementary Elegance

I made this card using one of the Sale-a-Bration free stamp sets. The little rolled roses were like the ones I made on this card, which I made from Andrea Buckingham’s wonderful tutorial here.

Spiced Paisley

The stamp set I’ve used for this card co-ordinates beautifully with the yummy Spice Cake DSP I used in my previous post, but here I went for a completely different colour scheme. Remember both stamp set and DSP are only available till the end of this month.

Spicy Triple Treat

This paper from the Summer mini catalogue is yummy, like its name – Spice Cake, and I love the Baja Breeze, More Mustard and Soft Suede colours together. I really like the effect of the same colour Lace Ribbon border punch on the card too.

The Open Sea

This was one of the cards we made at a recent class, partly inspired by this card on fellow SU! demonstrator Kerry Bunting’s blog. I love this set from the Summer mini and hope it will be in the next catalogue – I will definitely be keeping it anyway!

Build a Blossom

I made a few Christmas cards using the Build a Blossom stamp set and Blossom Petals builder punch to make poinsettias, but this time I decided to make a different kind of blossom.

I’m not sure how well it shows up in the photo, but I spritzed the card with shimmer paint and isocol mix.

Paisley Petals

I used the lovely Paisley Petals DSP for this birthday card, it’s become quite a favourite and I’ve used the papers on quite a few items now.

A couple of cards using the Stitched Stockings set and punch – I’m sorry to see this punch retiring at the end of March – it’s such a versatile little punch; I have seen it used to make lots of things other than Christmas stockings, including booties for a baby card, a hobby horse, ballet shoes, skates. I just have to find time to do a bit more playing around with it myself! We have been advised that it definitely won’t be in the 2012-2013 catalogue and once stocks are depleted Stampin’Up! won’t be restocking it, so if you like it, buy it now!
