Tiny Shopping Bags
3D Shopping Bag
You will need:
a piece of cardstock cut to 6cm x 4cm
double-sided tape or Snail
2 small lengths hemp twine
small square tissue paper (white or coloured)
– place the cardstock with the long sides top and bottom; score at 2cm, 2.5cm, 4.5cm, 5cm and 5.5cm
- rotate cardstock 90° so short sides are at top and bottom; score at .5cm and 1cm
- trim corner bits off bottom as shown in photo
- place double-sided tape along bottom flap and side flap as shown
- cut 2 small lengths of hemp twine and attach to inside as shown (do not remove backing from this tape)
- remove backing from double-sided tape on flaps; fold bottom flap up, fold side flap over, then fold bag back over side flap
- crumple a small piece of tissue and place inside shopping bag
Flat Shopping Bag
You will need:
a piece of cardstock 7.5cm x 4.5cm
double-sided tape or Snail
2 small lengths hemp twine
small square tissue paper (white or coloured)
- place the cardstock with the long sides top and bottom; score at 2cm and 5.5cm
- rotate cardstock 90º so short sides are at top and bottom; score at 1cm
- trim corner bits off as shown in photo
- place double-sided tape along bottom flap and side flap as shown
- cut 2 small lengths of hemp twine and attach to inside as for 3D bag (do not remove backing from this tape)
- remove backing from double-sided tape on flaps; fold bottom flap up, fold side flap over, then fold bag back over side flap
- crumple a small piece of tissue and place inside shopping bag
