Colour Renovation

In case you haven’t already heard, Stampin’Up! are “renovating” their colour families later this year – yes, giving them a more up-to-date look; some are retiring, there are some new colours, some 2008/2009 and some 2009/2010 In Colours will reappear as part of the colour families and some of the colours are “moving” to a different colour family! The “new” Crumb Cake is just the current Kraft with a new name, but will have stamp pad and markers to match!
The new colours will be introduced with the release of the new Idea Book & Catalogue on 1st September. While there are some colours that I will miss, I really love the look of the new colour families (there are some current colours that I have just never used).

Come 1st September, these are what the new colour families will be:

New Colour Families (2010)

I love that some of my favourite In Colours will be staying!

These are the colours that will be retiring:

Retiring Colours - 2010

Don’t despair if some of your favourite colours are amongst those retiring – remember you will have till the end of August to stock up on any stamp pads, markers or cardstock that you just can’t do without. If you buy re-inkers, your stamp pads will last a long, long time!

Another change is that there will be 5 new In Colours each year instead of 6, but they will be around for 2 years, so from next year there will actually be 10 In Colours – 5 new colours and 5 from the 2010/2011 IBC.

Hope you are as excited about the new look as I am – and I’m really looking forward to being able to buy the markers to match some of my favourite In Colours!
