Back again!

Sorry it has been so long since my last post – I have been suffering from a really nasty throat infection that just wouldn’t go away. However I’m feeling a little better now, so have some things to share.

Some lucky SU! demnstrators have been away in Sydney at SU!’s annual convention. Some of us who weren’t able to go to convention, but who are members of ESAD (check out this post for information on ESAD) took part in an "unconvention", organized by the lovely Tanya Kitto! There were card swaps, colour, card and scrapbook challenges and other exciting things in cyberspace. Although I wasn't able to join in everything, I did go in the card swap and a number of the challenges – lots of fun.

The first challenge I entered was Amy’s (visit her blog here) limited supplies challenge – the base had to be Whisper White or Very Vanilla cardstock, single layer, we could use only one stamp set and two ink colours, no embellishments. It was difficult to keep it so simple, but lots of fun! Then we could show a “jazzed up” version.

These was the first card I made:

Vintage Vogue (Soft Suede & Sahara Sand on Vanilla) - LSC, Vintage Vogue (Soft Suede & Sahara Sand on Vanilla) - LSC

and the “jazzed up” version:
Vintage Vogue (Soft Suede & Sahara Sand on Vanilla) - LSC, jazzed up, Vintage Vogue (Soft Suede & Sahara Sand on Vanilla) - LSC, jazzed up

I had so much fun with this I made another card:

Baroque Motif (Rich Razzleberry on Vanilla) - LSC, Baroque Motif (Rich Razzleberry on Vanilla) - LSC

and the embellished version:

Baroque Motif (Rich Razzleberry on Vanilla) - LSC, jazzed up, Baroque Motif (Rich Razzleberry on Vanilla) - LSC, jazzed up

Back with some more of the cards I made soon.
