Shimmer Lilies

I made this card and matching card box (filled with non-matching Christmas cards, lol!) for my lovely mother-in-law for her birthday last week. I used some retired blue cardstock, as her favourite colour is blue! Although it hasn’t shown up very well in the photos, I used the easy watercolour technique for the lilies, on the beautiful new Shimmer White cardstock. I have also used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder again – you may have noticed that it seems to be a favourite lately, lol!

Photo quality isn’t great, but with so much rain and overcast days, it was the best I could do!

Oooh, lovely Jan! I’m sure your Mother in Law will be most appreciative. Haven’t tried the watercolour technique on shimmer paper yet, must give that a try!
