Designer Rosette Fan

When I first got my designer rosette die, I tried it out with a scrap of DSP – of course it was way too small to make a rosette, but I loved the way it made such a pretty fan. This is how the resulting card turned out:

Card: Marina Mist, Whisper White, DSP stack (Subtles)
Stamp Pads: Marina Mist
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Other: Lacy Brocade embossing folder, Designer Rosette die, Delicate Doilies sizzlits, Modern Label punch, Baker’s Twine – Marina Mist, Crystal Effects, hot glue gun (non-SU)

Because I was reasonably happy with the way it looked, I decided to make a for similar card for the display boards at our regional event day last November.

The ‘cord’ for the fan was white baker’s twine rubbed over a black stamp pad, dried and then plaited with the end frayed for a tassel – rather a tedious (and messy!) task.

Card: Riding Hood Red, Basic Black, Whisper White, Twitterpated DSP
Stamp Pads: Riding Hood Red, Basic Black
Stamps: Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Other: Fancy Fan embossing folder, Designer Rosette die, Delicate Doilies sizzlits, Framelits – Bitty Banners, baker’s twine – Whisper White, Crystal Effects, shimmer paint – Frost White, hot glue gun (non-SU!)
