Another Christmas Blog Hop

****************************************************************************************************************** I am posting this early as I will be out tomorrow when the blog hop goes live, but all the links won’t be active till 9.00am (Brisbane time) on Saturday, so please come back then ******************************************************************************************************************

Welcome to another ESAD Christmas Blog Hop – this time featuring some Christmas gift ideas and decorating.

What is ESAD?
ESAD stands for Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators and it is an online group just for Australian and New Zealand demonstrators for Stampin’Up!
We so love what we do and not only do we love to share it with our customers, friends and wonderful blog visitors but we share our love for what we do with each other as Demonstrators. We run swaps, challenges, tutorials, product know how and cyberstamps and we are always there to help and support each other when it’s needed.
So if you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to click here to join our wonderful group.

You may have come here from seeing some gorgeous ideas on Bev Watt’s blog. If you are just starting here, when you have finished looking at my projects, just click on the link at the end of this post to go to the next blog, then keep on “hopping” till you have circled back to Bev’s blog.

I wanted to feature the lovely new Shimmer Paint, so went a little outside my comfort zone using something other than cardstock! However, I think I spent more time actually photographing (not terribly successfully) my projects than making them! I love the shimmer paint, but it really shows up much better in real life.

First I made these Christmas stockings (I’m sure the fabric is in Melon Mambo and the retired Brilliant Blue colours, lol!). Though I think I should have gone with a Cherry Cobbler colour instead of the pink, to show the shimmery paint a little better.

This might show the pink a little better:

Next were some serviettes:

and a closeup showing the shimmer a little better:

A set of acetate coasters:

A door hanger in Cherry Cobbler (just had to do something with cardstock!):

and lastly, I just had to have a card to show!

I’ll be posting a little more detail on the projects and some hints for using the shimmer paint in the next few days, so please come back if you’re interested.

Thanks for coming to visit!
