Fabulous Florets Easel

April 23, 2013

This was a wedding card I made; I loved the ‘vintagy’ look of this colour combo and, quite by chance, it matched the wedding flowers.
(I CASEd this card from one I saw at our regional Heartfelt event last November, but unfortunately I didn’t get the name of the maker of the original. If it was yours, please let me know so I can give you the credit!)

Card: Naturals Ivory
Stamp Pads: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede
Stamps: Fabulous Florets, Love & Laughter
Other: Framelits – Labels, Lacy Brocade embossing folder, Seam Binding – Crumb Cake, shimmer paint – Champagne Mist, pearls

Back to Posting!

April 15, 2013

Wow! I certainly didn’t mean to take such a long break from blogging, but we have had ongoing computer and internet problems so I just haven’t been able to do anything! I have finally got some cards to share, so will schedule them over a few days – can’t have them all at once, can I?

This was a card I made for a friend way back in January:

Card: Whisper White, Marina Mist, Vellum
Stamp Pads: Marina Mist
Stamps: Tea Shoppe, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Other: Delicate Doilies sizzlits, Lacy Brocade embossing folder, baker’s twine – Whisper White, shimmer paint – Champagne Mist

Yet Another CASE

November 5, 2012

The last card we made in our Christmas card class was this one which I CASE’d from US demo Connie Stewart. Connie has done a fantastic series of videos for quick cards which she calls flash cards and this was one of them.

I just made a few minor changes, including a beautiful faux ribbon bow which I saw here on another US demo, Connie Collins’, blog!

Card: Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Very Vanilla, DSP (retired)
Stamp Pads: Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler
Stamps: Delightful Decorations, More Merry Messages
Punches: ornament, 2 3/8″ scallop circle, 1″ circle, 3/4″ circle, large oval
