Another card using more of the exciting new stuff in the Autumn/Winter Mini! This time I thought I’d try something a little different with the labels die.

This was the first card I made using the fabulous new Framelits Labels dies in the new Autumn/Winter Mini; I made it a couple of weeks ago, but computer woes meant I haven’t been able to post till now – thank goodness I’d scheduled a lot of posts in advance!

My Stampin’ Sister, Bec Tipace, demonstrated this little shirt on a Make & Take card at one of our team meetings last year, and I have been meaning to make it in a class ever since. We finally made it last month – everyone used different DSP; they all looked so good, but of course I forgot to take photos!

The idea for these cards came from our monthly demo magazine – I love this stamp but it hadn’t seen the light of day for a while. Both cards were done the same way, but the first one was overstamped in Stazon, the second in Chocolate Chip classic ink, the embossed medallion ‘resisting’ the ink on this one.

I cased this card from one on the Sale-a-Bration brochure – a simple card, but rather lovely – but I couldn’t resist adding a little of the Lucky Limeade organdy ribbon – I think it just perfect for this card.

This time I was in the mood to do a little patchwork (probably inspired by the gorgeous patchwork quilts my mother has made for all her grandchildren; she is now making them for her great grandchildren – they are wonderful!) using these lovely papers.

I saw this and this cute card using the stocking tag punch, on Jackie Topa’s blog and just had to case them! I have had so much fun with this punch, I will be really sad to see it retire with the Summer mini. I have seen quite a few other ways to use this versatile punch, on various blogs.

I had meant to punch a window with the curly label punch on this card, but stamped too far from the edge for the punch to fit! I could have punched it out with the Movers & Shapers die, but decided to do it this way instead (too lazy to get the M & S dies out!)
